Volunteer with us on Thanksgiving!

Volunteers play a crucial role in delivering hot meals and the holidays to seniors and disabled neighbors across San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Thank you for your overwhelming support in delivering more than a meal on Thanksgiving! 

If you are interested in delivering meals on Thanksgiving, you can register to join the waitlist for our San Antonio/Bexar County opportunities, and/or our Atascosa and Frio County opportunities.  

Make some Friendly calls

If meal delivery opportunities are not available, or you can't leave home cause you're on turkey duty, you can still brighten a senior's day with a holiday greeting over the phone. Thanksgiving meals are delivered to our seniors who let us know they will be spending the day at home. Many of these seniors will also be spending the day alone.

Volunteers will receive a list of about 10 seniors to call on Thanksgiving Day. The list of clients will be emailed to you the day before Thanksgiving, with a short optional script, some instructions for the calls, and where to send any notes.

Our seniors are eagerly anticipating this special holiday meal and friendly call. Your kindness and warm greetings will surely brighten their Thanksgiving!
