Thank you in advance for your patience! We are working on creating a better experience for our volunteers with this opportunity and appreciate everyone’s patience as we improve things for everyone.
Comfy Casas enables clients to safely age in place with dignity and independence. We help improve the health of our seniors and adults with disabilities by addressing their living conditions and home safety needs.
Would you like to help keep our clients safe in their homes? Join us today to provide a peace of mind for our clients and their families!
HOW CAN I HELP?
We need volunteers who can assist our clients with their home needs that include but are not limited to the following:
-
Trash and/or Large Item Removal
-
Lawn Maintenance
-
Furniture Assembly and Installation
-
Installing Household Items (i.e., Light bulbs, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, Reflective Address Numbers)
Comfy Casas Projects will be posted at the beginning of the month on the Volunteer Portal. Volunteers will sign up for a project, and the service coordinator will send out a project sheet with more information. Volunteers will need to call the client to set an appointment to complete the project. The project must be completed within the allotted time frame ranging from 2 -3 weeks. Volunteers must update the coordinator of their progress and the completion of their project.
Household items provided by Meals On Wheels will be picked up from our Headquarters at 2718 Danbury St, 78217
